There is some werid errors in LoginSvr aswell so I just uploaded all of them here
    http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ydmywyojm2z

I am so confused, maybe its because the ip in LoginSvr.ini is set to 127.0.0.1 (myself) and not my WANip?

I actually loled. You do better further down the log though.

Ok, stop editing ini files manually. You need to change exactly nothing manually in my files to get them to work so start with a default config, get than working and then you can experiment.

First, as you have a router test LAN-only to start with as that eliminates several potential problems (port forwarding, the other router problem). Put 192.168.2.5 in your internal.txt. Now run cabal_config from the centos command line and answer the things it asks, when asked what ip players will connect to also use 192.168.2.5. Change nothing else and start the services.

This is the easiest config for a LAN so get this working first. Check the logs frequently (every time you try logging) so you can see new errors. Once you know this mode works then you can look at opening externally and solving port forwarding.

    Re: Problem with ports

I have already been on my server playing via LAN settings but the problem is WAN cause I want ppl to play with me... ports are forwarded correctly because when I scan the CentOS IP it says the ports are open for the services that are running meaning if I am using test server and service WorldSvr_24_01 is running and I scan port 38111 it is open.. I dunno why people cannot connect to me in this case..

Can you get on MSN sometime today? I sent you a friend request i am paradoxservers@live.com

BTW when i did WAN;LAN in the confi i was just testing =)... Im so fed up at this point, 5 days now ive been stuck on the same problem and its all pointing to somthing that is blocking external access to my server, no firewall in centos, no firewall in windows, no firewall in modem and no firewall in router... grrrr

    Re: Problem with ports

This is why i suggested testing via the LAN. Once you have everything working that way the router is the only thing left.

The big probem is that a lot of routers are not actually capable of hosting game servers properly. A lot of routers don't support a feature called "loopback" which is an important feature for us. Loopback allows somebody from inside the LAN to connect to the router's WAN address and the follow port forwarding rules o loop the connection back into the LAN and most home users have no need of such features so it doesn't always get included. Unless your manualy tells you the only way to know is to test it.

To find out you have to first run via the LAN to ensure that works. Next configure using the WAN IP and get somebody external to test, if they can get in then try the WAN IP in your internal.txt and try. If they can get it but you can't then the router doesn't support loopback. You normally find a "mismatched ip" error in the worldsvr logs showing 2 ip addresses, yours and the gateway as the server has confused the two nd thinks you are the router.

In my case the very oldest firmware versions of my router didn't support loopback but the feature was added in a later firmware upgrade which might be worth looking into. The only other choice is hamachi or setting up for WAN and setting LAN players to use a proxy to get in.

    Re: Problem with ports

Thanx for the reply chump but my problem was solved in a way that was even hard for me to understand..

Ok this fix is only for some people having problems opening there ports for players to connect to them. You must have a modem and a router for this fix.

If you are certain you have forwarded your ports correctly on both your modem and router and things are not working this could be due to your modem NEEDING to be in bridge mode so that you can set your router up to use pppoe. If you are unsure how to set this I would advise calling your ISP and asking them to set your connection to bridge mode and explaining why it needs to be that way.
