My Friends Give me the mssql and the port id of his server but i dont know how to connect what im going to do ? this is my question in my self he give to me the port to his data base

That makes me think your friend is behind a firewall or router and if that is the case he needs to either open ports (if a firewall is blocking) or forward port 29999 to the Windows LAN IP (if he has a router). Rememebr the Windows firewall will block you if enabled.

I masked the IP and username as you probably don't want to give that much info out ;)
