Is it possible to have remote MSSQL on a cabal server?

And what GHZ do i need for a cabal server on a dedi?

I got C2D e7500 2.93 ghz on my home PC and its no problem now

It is possible to have a remote MSSQL, yes.
I am running my cabal server on 2 seperate VPS boxes.

The memory on your Linux server all depends on your server's plans.

For a small server, you will do fine with 512MB memory.
Big servers usually need a few GB Memory...

What I would do is start out with the amount you think your server would need and upgrade when needed.

Well i was thinking about 2 gigs of RAM
And, one more thingy
How much bandwitdh do i need? (100mbps SPEED, but i mean the actual bandwitdh,most companies offer 2/3 TB's by default

Try to Oberserved first, make 1 channel with that's
kind of Ram with almost 80 players...and take a note of the players comments about your server :) try it...
