Server Centos 5 already configured in a host

Ok , here is my situation...

2 years ago i made my own server on my pc, following video guides on the releases section.

    Now ...

I have 1 server that is already pre-configured on a host, it's running Centos 5.

I managed to install vmware there and make windows xp run on it.

I followed some guides and installed the databases on the windows xp

    Now,

Because in the beggining of most guides, they teach how to configure centos but since my server is already configured, what should i do?

Should i do vmware on vmware machine

    Let's say

Centos 5 (Original Host) -----> Windows xp (On vmware) -> Centos 4.5 (On Vmware)

    or

Centos 5 <------> Windows xp (and other problem is i don't know how i will manage the ips with both machines since centos5 server is already configured because in windows xp i can easy use ipconfig but i still don't know in centos)

If someone know what packages should i install via yum, i'm on my way to use chumpy's repack 2.5

Any suggestion help will be appreciated!

    Thank you guys!

Re: Server Centos 5 already configured in a host

You need 1 dedicated Server or 2 virtual server.

Dedicated Server -> Windows -> Vmware Server 2.x -> CentOs

Dedicated Server -> CentOS -> Virtual Machine -> Windows

Virtual Server CentOS <-----> Virtual Server Windows (easy way for beginner)

Use, CentOs 5.x and MSSQL 2k8 or 2k12

If CentOS is installed on the dedicated server you don't need to install it again in a virtual machine...
