Server in one pc, Database in another

    Server in one pc, Database in another

    I have a fully working server in one pc, but i want the database to be in another pc.

    What ip should i use in centos/server side?

    Please tell me as soon as possible. Thanks

    From where we can know it? If serwers are connected to one router u can connect same like on virtualbox - using lan IP...

    use Database WAN IP.

    i mean, i have the server (centos) in another pc with another ip and router, and i want the database in my pc, where i have another router/ip.

    i just have to use in centos my wan ip? and what ports should i forward (if needed for mssql)?

    There is a guide on what port to forward in centos and mssql. Just be sure that you are using the right wan ip for your centos and database server.
