Server Not connecting - Several Log errors.

Edit: When i try to log in the account I made did not work.

It worked fine

Please tell me how to fix this

yea lol if u typed the same comand as in the guide meant to make that user and that passowrd.
exec dbo.cabal_tool_registerAccount 'yr user name','yr password'

When I try to create a character I get this error:

Cannot Proceed with the command due to unknown DB error

Ok I have just restored the account Database, and noticed it cannot connect to the server. No surprise I guess..

Do I have to run queries in putty?.. or do anything else..

Well first of all , stop the server ....recheck configs and type this in putty rm -rf /var/log/cabal/* after start server again, check the new logs if anymore errors.

Yes i Know, the problem is that When I try to make a character I get an error mentioned above..

well make sure it was not another typo that makes all this errors , u might wanna try a search for other topics and maybe u find the solution as this been discused already, i think i saw a cuple of posts like this in mahi`s guide post

Will do!.. this thread was for a previous problem, as you already know.. I Just thought ill post all these upcoming problems here...

I ran rm -rf /var/log/cabal/* query.. deleted all the filed within the directory..
Now the game will not connect...

Will I have to run any more queries to make new logs?

well show the new logs and i`ll take a look at the new errors

EDIT:
that command was to remove all the files in the log folder so new ones would be created and see the new errors better.

kk.. well i got by the DB erro with the settings provided by chumpywumpy.
Everything seems to be going smoothly..

I was just wondering.. in order to allow other ppl to connect to my server, I heard i will have to do something called port forwarding..

I was wondering if you knew the specifics?..
I will be searching the forums and posting results here for others :)
