Why my server cannot play cabal
with server i ping to mysql reply and mysql ping to server reply

default username is "sa" without quote.

i think that's you missed.

i know how to fix this erros just follow the next steps

++centos++
+ ping IP OF THE WINDOWS -> if it can ping press CTRL+X or CTRL+Z to stop pinging
!!!This Step is for users wich have router

if the ping command will not work and it say unreachable destination just put your centos network on bridged connection and you will have ip something like 192.168.1.100 or everything else !

++Windows SQL++
Linked server Provider String = Driver={SQL Server};SERVER=KaZz-PC\SQLExpress;UID=sa;PWD=1234;

Server = Your instance name like i typed there KaZz-PC\SQLExpress instead of kazz-pc\sqlexress put your instance name
UID = user sa
PWD = your sa user password

and then it will work just if the centos can ping your windows ip !!

for me is working , no other tutorial worked for me so i tried by myself !!

buddy,you need only to put Default name (when u installed sql choice :"default name instance" xD i thin ure using PC-NAME/SQLEXPRESS - and be sure to change internet connection to TCP/IP xD Local Network.) GoodLuck buddy ;)
