I can login to my account now, but when creating a character this pops up in the bottom left, "Cannot proceed with the command due to unknown DB errors. Please try again." I checked the LoginSvr log and it said this:

Can you post the whole log, please? Typically, that message shows ingame when there is an issue with your linked server.

Look in cabal_charge_auth in the account db. Set the Type to 1 and the ServiceKind to 1 and that will fix it.
ServiceKind is already 1, and the Type switches back to 5 every time I try to change it.

Definitely an issue with your linked server. Delete the linked server and remake it EXACTLY how it says to in chumpy's guide.
Ou, fixed it. I was searching for anything related to this and came across http://forum.ragezone.com/f451/commo...d-faqs-469775/. Thank you chumpy for this btw, I should've looked more closely.

I changed the MSSQL user to sa and it worked.
