USB modem Centos Connection

hi all , i want ask how to make usb modem connection

because i install vm and ubuntu in centos

i cant use in centos internet , a time a maked but i dont know how to make its a luck :)
anyone know it ?

my modem : speed touch
my system : windows xp service pack 3

i think that is very slow connection i won't rely that part
i use it also but slow connction

i try many many and cant connect

so i buyed new modem

but i cant make server :(

dont work on my computer i dont know i fallow darkxl and chumpy guides
server working
sql server working
internal txt right
but i cant enter server
i dont know why :(
