Most people here use the US client from ogplanet or the GamesPirate (GP) client which is the same thing. The login patch is what is most critical and i would suggest keeping your installer so you can experiment ;)

If you have my server files then check /etc/cabal/docs/clientfiles for my client patch. The patch posted here by saur0n is also popular but you will need to make an internal.txt for that one. Check my sig for the "how to properly start a cabal client" as that shows you everything you need.
