Hello. I have a problem I can not connect to the server. I can not enter the game. I write that the login failed. I have the same problem as the one here: http://forum.ragezone.com/f451/faile...e-help-765476/ Please describe in detail. how to solve this problem.
do like me. first of all go into centos, type in terminal "cabal stop" then go to system files/var/log/cabal, delete all ".log" files, THEN go back to terminal, type "cabal start" after that copy all logs from this folder by winscp to windows and pack this logs and get it on some server and show them here. i have done the same, w8ing for response :D

In cabal tutorial section there I have a cabal Wiki thread, look in there for a diagnostic solution, the most of this issues 're in fact a problem between your cabal server and your database server, more information about your servers would be useful, for example 're you using visualization? Which OS 're you using for cabal server, and db server, etc... :D

This says that the server can't connect to your db server, this error can be an error of communication between both servers, start with ping from your db server to cabal server (centos), and from cabal server to your db server, try to run a service cabal stop, and cabal_config make sure that you input correctly your db server ip address, make sure that you run the surface area configuration on your database and make sure that you activate the option that allow remote connection, in both tcp and named pipes, refer to chumpy's mssql guide, page 7, later try to run cabal_config again, I hope this help you.

Go In SQL 2005/ConfigurationTools/SurfaceAreaConnection/RemoteConnection/Choise "LOCAL AND REMOTE CONECTIONS/USING TC/IP ONLY (if you did that already that mean your problem is when u`ve installed sql ,you didn't choised Default Name Instance ) !i will w8 for your reply,try those methods
