    Changing LAN/WAN/HAMACHI - IP. Not working :)

    Hello all,

My server is working fine. However there are some bugs that needs to be fixed which I am working on.

When I tried hosting the server in LAN (192.168.1.2) and through WAN or through Hamachi, it's not working. I did the following change,

    1. Changed the IP in the following:
    a, d:\A3server\Loginagent\LoginAgent.ini
    b. d:\a3server\Loginserver\Loginserver.ini
    c. d:\a3server\Zoneagent\ZoneAgent.ini

    2. Hex'ed my Client to the respective IP. There were 7 places where I changed my IP. (I have attached my Hex'ed client here for the IP 192.168.1.2)

When I run the client, I get APPCRASH error. Went through some of posts like, http://forum.ragezone.com/f98/help-r...online-758959/ However, still in the same state.

Please help and also check I am doing anything wrong with my Hex'ing :)

    " A3Client.EXE Error "

If you are changing your ip from 127.0.0.1 then you need to keep in mind that 192.168.1.2 have two extra bytes. So, while replacing, put two spaces after 127.0.0.1 and then replace

    ProtRZ, tired but isn't working.

I did this, searched for 127.0.0.1 and then went to replace option and hit backspace twice and then typed 192.168.1.2. Did the same in 7 places. Saved and exe and then changed the IP in .ini files.

When I clicked the exe, it din't give any APPCRASH errors in the other hand, it din't run also. Am I missing anything?

    All,

Is there a client which is hexe'd with 192.168.1.2 that I could use? Please share the .rar file if possible :)

    Thanks.

Abaya HK you cant use backspace while editing exe
as it will change bytes contained in that exe and exe will crash
just over write on it and there are only 6 ip's to edit in A3Client.exe
and appcrash might be due to some missing client data files too so check that also

But looking at what Protrz says, he wants to add to space before 192.168.1.2 - so I think I may need to add two blank space? Just overwriting on 127.0.0.1 IP wont work. Right?

I know this is going to be a spoon fed!

Saw your clip - thanks Protrz!! However, when I try to replace, I still see its replacing in seven places. I guess there is an issue with my client. Could you please upload or share a link of the client which is clean as yours :) Or possibiliy, upload the hex'ed one with 192.168.1.2 :)

    Thanks Prortz :)

I don't have a perfect a3client.exe and mine won't be of any use to you as there are many modifications done in that client.
Please search the forum for another client
