[help] beginner quest

Hi


One of the first quests, think its number 5 (Tai Hao) doesn't want to work. I select my reward but it wont let me complete the quest, I only get the error stating that I don't meet the requirements.


Is this an actual bug with the server or perhaps my client or setup?


I am tried every 1.3.5 server release on this site and I am using the C&C client because I can't get the gamigo client with 001.cpk to work in english :[

I searched before to see if anyone else had the fix, but couldn't find it when I searched by the name. Saw the quests.rar fix now, going to try it out.

If the fix does work, why don't people just include it in the server releases? Would be nice to just include all these fixes or mention it in the tutorials.

There is a need for someone to make an updated release with all the fixes. If I have the time, I will upload everything I have. It's not perfect, but 95% working.

that will be really cool because this one in forum is crap and also i try alot thnik to fix but epic fail i hope you realease something really good for idiot and noobs like me !

a updated release would be epic.

My bugged quest is gone now after I updated the quests, but now my npc's are invisible or not there. I have even exported the system.cpk and pasted it over my existing files in the server to try fix npc's but it didn't help

I posted in another thread about syncing the client/server. If data doesnt match you will have problem with non working quests, missing npcs etc etc. check other topics and you will find it.

Thanks for that thread, I saw it yesterday and tried it out, but it still didn't resolve my issue with missing NPC, which doesnt make sense, as I verified that the sync overwrote the files, windows asked me if I was sure if I want to overwrite like 2000 files in one folder alone, so I know it overwrote loads of files :[[

Think I will just start with a fresh server again tomorrow and sync all the files again, lolz
