I'm pretty sure it is the Pan Gu NPC because we are using similar server files and I got the same bug.

Re: [Help] I have missing NPC

I've been messing around with the string_table.xml to see what I could see. I replaced it (927kb) with another one I found online (225kb). Restarted my server and to my surprise, there was Pan Gu in all his glory !

I have not been able to pinpoint what the problem is in the 927kb string_table.xml and I still need to test a lot of other NPC's with the 225kb string_table.xml. My pc is not running so great at the moment, so I have to fix that first and will then post any more information that I find.

EDIT : I've just done a quick test, and it seems the string_table.xml file is key to many things, including NPC position. I will start taking this file apart bit by bit and figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Attached is the file that fixed Pan Gu, but may cause other bugs.
Just rename it to string_table.xml and put it in your server folder -> data -> zhCN

Remember to backup your old string_table.xml file.

Okay. Download the Culture and Chaos client. Use CPack and extract the system.cpk. Update all your server files with the files from C & C system.cpk Your missing NPC and quest problems will be gone.

PS : What NPC's are you missing?

Yes, just having the C & C client is not enough. You have to update your data folder in server with data folder from C & C

When you extract the system.cpk from C & C you will see that there is a full data folder there with subfolders called "local", "system", "UI" etc. Copy those folders to your server data folder and replace the files in the server.

The data folder in your server has to be the same as the data folder in the packed system.cpk file.
