Armor models

So i've been messing around with wepaon models for some time, and i must say i've been having a fantastic time doing so, and my results have been quite awsome. I would like to move onto armors, however i am having a hard time finding out exactly how the armor models work so im curious to know where the current armor models are and how i go about importing them to software to look them over.

I can get any program but i already have (and have a decent, if not great understanding of it)

Photoshop (Cs6 - extended )
