Running server with Hamachi

Hello everyone good day,

I was wondering if you guys can help me out

I'm trying to run my server using hamachi for test purposes,

I edited the
(DBSRV,MSGSRV,ZONE,ITEMSRV)
admin.txt
localip
and serverlist

and changed their IP's to my hamachi IP

then I copied the serverlist.bin from my DBSRV and pasted it in my client

I then uploaded the client and asked my friend to download it and help me out,

Of course I tested it first before I uploaded it, it worked just fine

After my friend downloaded it, I told him to join my network in Hamachi,
after he joined me in Hamachi, I told him to run the client and try logging in (htlauncher.exe)
he got stuck in the server list area, no text showed like (sorry connection to server has failed)

Then I tested it on my laptops which is connected to the same internet via WIFI

I did the same thing,
downloaded the client
download hamachi
connected hamachi network
ran my client
logged in
and it worked, no problem



So, can anyone help me out with this, because my server is only allowing LAN connections instead if Hamachi

these are my .txt files as for now

admin.txt
0 25.20.67.153

localip.txt
25.20.67.153 (port)

serverlist.txt (client and server)
0 6
0 0 25.20.67.153
0 1 25.20.67.153
etc



Can anyone please help me? did I miss something?
Do I have to edit something else other than those .txt files(admin,serverlist,localip.config)?
I followed the tutorial here in forums,
I don't know whats wrong, please help

Elyrb paturo naman panu gumawa ng server in offline mode, pede penge narin ng files mo, if okay lng.. gusto ko sana mag try..

Stop using Hamachi. Use https://www.dynu.com/en-US/
Why? It makes your life easier. You just have to use your "Dynu" Sub-domain or your custom domain-name in order for your users to directly connect at your Home-PC.
While if you use Hamachi, your connection is being routed to 3rd party Proxy Server (Hamachi) before it gets to your Clients (Players).
Subscribe PLDT Fibr, and this works best with that since the UPLOAD & DOWNLOAD is paralleled.

Use RadminVPN its better than hamachi and can handle 1 channel till 100 players or more.also security its good.

Have you tried using RadminVPN? Does it work the same with Hamachi?
