CentOS window share nothing there!!

    CentOS window share nothing there!!

    I Follow the video tutorial. and when he open the Windows share he can see his Drive:D but in my computer I cannot see it.. is it okay or it will affect the all the setup that I will do??

    Do you have a D: drive on the windows computer? is it included in smb.conf as a share?

    Already did that.. and just create my server that thing does not effect anything.. The problem now is the wrong password.. So I need to search for this one to fix.

    back when i used samba it had to have a valid systemuser along with a password generated with smbpasswd. Other then that check out Samba - opening windows to a wider world they have nice guides.

    First of all do you have a D: drive? Because in my tutorial I have 2 drive C: (window and software files) and D: (games,server and videos files) drive.
    Second check your oracle box setting and look at the share folders should say something like Machine Folders <folder name> <path to your HD drive> auto-mount <yes> access either check or uncheck Read-only>
    Third check your HD drive setting make sure it sharing On your main OS (probly didn't mention this on the video) Example: capture.jpg
    Forth make sure you ping your IP each other on linux and window see if they can connect to each other.
    it should work by then you you done all those.
