Question about host

Hello, I was wondering if i could host a samp server at 000webhost.com ?
I cant afford a real host cuz i dont get money for a while now.

Well so the question is: Can i host at 000webhost ( Web host )

You can't use an application with a (free or not) web hosting. Not only the power could not be enough good (Bandwidth, specs...), but it simply doesn't work. They will not give you direct access to the machine, simply to things such as FTP server and tools.

You need to use your own computer, a VPS or even a dedicated server. Using your own computer is free, but not managed as a VPS. A VPS cost monthly, but is managed and specs are probably better for networking than your machine. Finally, dedicated isn't needed for a SAMP server.

Even very cheap VPS can run a SAMP server easily. Or you can use another integrated solution such as serverFFS. It will be very hard to find free VPS servers...

So, no, you can't use web hosting to run a SAMP server.

Well, it possible but no dont do that.
Youll be blacklisted from every hosting company. and youll have a huge ass bill on your ass ( fine ). If you dont pay get ready to go prison.
This is just a warning. Dont try.
So here chose one pay a 500,000 USD bill or pay 2.50 per month?
2.50monthX12=30 dollars a year.

500,000/12=41,666 USD a month

Yes, i know that i can host on my computer, But you see my parents are divorced, So i can only have the server on 24/7 in a week, and then they need to wait a week until i get back to my dad so i can host it :S Thats why i need a host. And i cant buy a host bcz i need to pay off some money to friends :P

if you can't pay 30 dollars a year, then i suggest you don't start a server at all.. :s sorry if this sounds rude..

hosting will always cost money. there are cheap hostings especially for sa-mp servers. you can use 000webhosting next to it if you want.

it's also better to go with payed hosting, because it is (usually ^^) more reliable :)

and back in the days when i hosted some servers at my home (my parents were divorced too) i bought some cheap UPS (for power outages) and i had my server run 24/7 (at home). When i was at my dads my server just kept running.

but trust me, paying 30$ a year will be cheaper then the electricity bill you get after that year if you host at home :p

Well i got a host now :P I got a good friend that have a really good VPS! So he is hosting my server for me :P 500 slots ;=)
