    Creating Customs

Mmmhello. I'll be posting this thread on this account for just one unnamed reason.

I've looked around this section multiple times for threads relating to modifying/editing files. So I do have the gist of things but sadly, I'm just still quite unsure of myself despite my experience in creating customs for another game.

What I want to achieve is fully understanding the processes of creating costumes, weapons, accessories and maybe even new hair styles and faces for Luna Online. I want to experiment and be able to create something successfully and someday share it for the public.

What I'm looking for is a very detailed, yet understandable explanation or possibly someone willing to take me under their wing.

Thank you for at least reading this. I would just like to expand my knowledge from one game to another when it comes to creating customs.

Are you an experienced 3D modeler?

It's...quite easy if you're just gonna add items/avatars/designs..the long part is actually the creation of the model and it's textures etc..
but i guess if you were able to successfully make a single item, then it will be a breeze..xD

Haha, I use to make custom content for fiesta online servers so I'm very familiar in terms of .dds files (only difference is the hex editing). Sadly, back then, I was very limited due to my lack of experience in modeling so I only stuck with costumes and faces as my dream of creating chaos weapon skins ceased to exist. And yeah, I think it should be a breeze after the first couple successful items. From then on, I'm just planning to practice and practice and hopefully I might share something intriguing in the future.

But anyways, thanks for the reply, I have a friend willing to teach me during his free times xD
