    why would one do that?

    One reason for using cookies is cash, pay up to show you message.
    Other reason is, if pang can be used. It WILL be flooded.

    More in my case, I want to change because the ticker will be useful for me as pangs, you know?

    Of course you can exchange pang for cookies.

    Authenticate a user, get his player data, subtract amount X of pang for amount Y of cookies and call the USPs for cookie transactions as you'd normally do.

    Since the "Recharge Cookies" link is just a website, modify the address and point it towards your own exchanger (which you'll have to build, of course).

    If you already have a somewhat working website, it should take you less than 5 minutes.
