[Help] Client Error

first of all, yes, i DID search through the forums before posting and noticed there were more people with this error, LGK said he had a fix for it somewhere but failed to find the link in the forums here.
The problem is, im running on win2k atm, and whenever i startup the ProjectG.exe i get a kernel32.dll error.
Anyone can help me get rid of this? :(
Really frustrating since i got the server "working" but client giving errors atm.

1] Open up your favorite Hex editor
2] Search forBF02526573746F72654C6173744572726F72

3] Replace With A2025365744C6173744572726F7200000000
4] Save, and enjoy

I can't seem to find the values u gave me in the ProjectG.exe :(
I use the client from the Sticked Guide..
Maybe someone of u guys can hex a projectG.exe for me to play on a local server (127.0.0.1)?

you have to unpack your ProjectG.exe with PEID first to be able to find those values

After i've unpacked it, do i need to repack it again? or can i just use that executable?
Sorry for my "stupid questions", aint very experienced with hex editing clients... :(

maybe you didn't use an indo projectg.exe version below 2.15c (season 1)
