Wich OS on my host?

Hi guys, i've got a host to launch my own server, wich SO i should instal in it? Unfortunatly i cnnot chose to install windows OS, only linux/ubuntu OS.

Can you give some tips? thanks

Rf server require windows OS x64 bit,
So win os is much better,
not sure how you would try to run the server on linux

In the host i can install different linux OS and also 64bit version too, but there are many and i don't know wich one could be the best. I've heard about wine to run windows applications on linux, but dunno if this is enough to run RF server on linux host.

Windows Server 2008 r2 standards some dedicated server offers windows server 2012 r2 just 2008 version ..im sure they will extra charge 10 to 25$ to your monthly :)
