a noobish question

i have 2 questions .... both noobish but still i think u can answer

1. i wanna change the ip of a3client.exe , i chked full ragezone nowhere its clearly mentioned that wat to do . tell me plz where i m wrong..
first i need a hex editor..
i m using tha hex editor which Insane mentioned in his server guide:-

now i have to search for "server" in it , in which i ll get some ip address..
where???
i searched for "server" 3 results found but i didnt seen any ip address near it .. i searcherfor 192(thinking its the startingof the ip adress) .. no result..
plz tell me which is the best hex editor & how to change the ip in through it..

2. i have seen auto pot option in f5 macro in many server ... but its disabled in a3india server...
is there any way to enable it in a3india??

1. You need to hex A3Client.exe and then search for _Hide or server (These are not linked but will get you close enough to the ip addresses.)

There will be a bunch of IP addresses (about 4 of them.)

And it ain't 192 for the starting. It depends on which client you use.

2. Unless you can force the ARA3 client to connect to A3India, then you will have the function.

Hey! prot, Dont take any tention of making a server. As soon I m finished, i will host a private Server. So just relax, me got a bunch of personal who agreed to help financially and ....

First of all, I never asked you to search for "server"
I said search for the word "mercenary" using XVI32 and a non-case sensitive search.
When you do this, you will see 3 IP's. Change them all to your IP's by over writing them. If the previous IP is longer than your current IP, then fill in the extra spaces with NULLS.
And just under these 3 IP's there are another 3 IP's which you can edit the same way and save the file.
Make sure you dont add in any extra strings to your file or else it will become unusable..!

Next noob question - Why Nevia Canion is empty and maps warped from Hartel (3 maps is my server v1.45) is empty. No monsters!!!!

Warehouse (I know only 1 tool by that name) and it works only on 1.20 and only when the server is installed on D>a3server ..Thats the reason.

Secondly, The creeps aint being shown bcoz 1.45 does not have the map files for the maps you asked for.
Why are you still sticking to 1.45? Go ahead and make 2.02. Its way better..!
