A3 private server
i have gone through all the tutorials here but still in the same black as i was in before . m tryingto start a Private A3 lan server, but after all the things i am still unable to do any help to myself. please help me wid a detailed guide or the threads i need to chk may be i missed some thing in here. please guide me.
If you can't understand English well enough to setup a server, too bad.
There's more than enough information in this Forum for anyone with a decent amount of knowledge and intelligence to setup their own A3 server.
I'm actually from the Gunbound subforum, but after reading the stickied thread I can already setup an A3 server (even though I have no idea how to play A3 or know anything else about it)

the main fact is m a bit noobish in these features i do understand english causei cm frm a english medium school. but all what i asked is that please guide me in setting up a server and to guide me if i have missed sm postes or threads so please read what i have said earlier.
ne ways no use quarelling hope each and every 1 is forgotten here.plz help in wid a detailed or step by dtep guide for server setup.

If you can't understand the information contained within those two stickied threads, then you really should not be attempting to setup an A3 server.
I know nothing about A3 and yet I could still do it.
we know Arcanee did nothing so far to setup a server, like most of the newbies asking the same stupid question, but be warned about this: A3server is anything but well developed and its not exactly easy to setup even for skilled folks with knowledge about Win2k, SQL, networking and programming.Originally Posted by username1

People are avoiding my question, Legendary said @PETLEVEL command increases shue level, but so far I haven't been able to get it to work!!! Does anybody know the proper syntax.??

No worries, I'll answer it anyway.
Firstly,
You must have a GM character. Test this by keying in @ in the KH chat.
A @@@ Cheat ok! grey text should appear.
Then you must make friends with yourself.
Let's say my character is Legendary.
I press C and press Add friend and I type in Legendary.
A dialog will appear press yes.
Click on your name and CHAT with yourself (Yes, it's possible)
Key in @PETLEVEL?XXX where XXX represents the lvl of the shue you want to change it to (1~100) of the shue CURRENTLY EQUIPPED IN THE SHUE SLOT.
Means if your GM is a Mage you can only uplevel mage shues.

after goin throug all the guides i found out m missing these

m have managed to run the 7770 ; 8880 ; 9990 parts of the server files but zoneserver dosent start it shows 'game Init Fail' have attached a picture for the perusal of u fellows.

u should read instructions...
run 7770, 8880, 9990, loginserver, loginagent, zoneagent, mainserver, accountserver, zoneserver in the order i specified.....
Yep, that and also you didnt create a new login by the name of a3serial and that long password as the DB owner for A3ItemEvent.
i did create a new login wid the name a3serial and the long password . do i need to use that to login ?
Set DB Owner = A3ItemEvent.txt (MAKE SURE the DBowner is A3itemevent!!)

Read. Repeat until understood.
There isn't any order to run the servers. You can run login agent and log in sever then 7700 8800 9900 and mainserver. The hint is to know what program depends on which servers.
i m having these errors when i start them plz can sm 1 hlp me?
Main Server Error:
Paste the A3ClanNameTable_23 file in C:/Clan. That will fix your problem. Account Server aint starting coz your main aint running.
Now dont bang your head on where to get A3ClanNameTable_23, just rename A3ClanNameTable_0 to 23.
