    A3client.exe (server ports)

    http://forum.ragezone.com/f98/share-...7/#post2796192

In this post I saw that Yag4mi2k is using client 5.20 (kr) with older server files.

I downloaded this client but it's obviously using different ports.

Anyone can explain how to change the ports in the client to make em match the 219 server files?

    Thanks

To Change ports in client you must have the idea about port used in that client as in most of server files you will find port as 8811 the hex encryption of this port is : 6b 22 00 00 ....

Search for this Hex string in your client and replace this with your needed port as i used 2020 : E4 07 00 00

You may happen to replace some other similar occurrence. This will screw up your client.

    Re: A3client.exe (server ports)

    Done it with 5.20 A3client.exe

    Position 38af: de 0d -> 6b 22

    From 3550 to 8811

Now prob is with loginagent I suppose, because it gives errors.

Wireshark may be our friend here

Ya that 5.20 and 5.62 client supports different ZoneAgent than we using ,
i guess the encryption for IP in them both are different so we having that problem if any one know or have a compatible ZoneAgent for Korean 5.62 and 5.20 client you can share here ! It will be more useful for us .

None of the Korean Clients will work with Taiwan Server Files.

Yag4mi2k said he is using it, I wonder what did he do?

I am curious, will install wireshark and take a look. Old A3 India client used to send authentication info in plain text, maybe we get lucky.

    Re: A3client.exe (server ports)

Don't know, but I am curious. I don't know if there is any advantage in running the Korean client either, or we can use the ones we already have.

    Take a look at www.countrywars.net:

    1) All-out-War working
    2) Thol working (Tournament)
    3) Arena working ( mine still NOT working )
    4) Nevia War

Are they using korean client or same thing we are using, strange isn't it?

    Re: A3client.exe (server ports)

There is no error displayed nor any message.

When I press "move to arena" game gets stuck, there is no message displayed.

    Check this thread: http://forum.ragezone.com/f98/help-m...server-301447/

    I have posted screenies.

Here is what I have tried:

    1) Make Battleserver ID same everywhere (ID:3)
    2) Changed Battleserver ID to 1
    3) Edited mapinfo everywhere and included maps 200+
    4) Added 200+ maps to teleport.txt

    I am using TTa3 client.

You won't get it anywhere. You need to make your own server files to be compatible.
