    Client loading screen

    Hey,

    I want to change a few things on the client like the loading screen.

    Akaruz told me i have to open a certain file with photoshop in the data folder, it contains the loading screen picture.
    But couldnt remember whitch file..

    Does anyone have some info about this?

    Cant open DAT with photoshop.

    client loading screen

    i use A3 India client which has 4 logo.dat files now the prob is which one of them to edit and use which software, Photoshop or Paint dosent allow them to be opened. have included an attachment for our perusal !

    The one which is logo.dat is the one currently in use. Just change the .dat extension to .jpg and open and edit in Paint-Brush or whatever photo editing tool you have.

    The rest are there for particular events, any one might be renamed and used for their purpose. Your only concern is logo.dat

    The official logo.dat cannot be opened.... I tried it already... U need something from ARA3

    Nah! You need dds plugins installed[get it from nVidia's website].
    Then rename logo.dat to logo.dds and open with Photoshop.
    I opened sg, and Indian logo.dat files with ease. xD

    Clent loadin Screen

    i tried a new method i made a picture wid paint renamed it to logo.dat and replace it with the org logo.dat in the Data directory and it was done.
    though the picture was a bit compressed.

    You got to make sure the picture fits the original space first. Otherwise it will definitely be compressed.
