[Help] Fail to Connect to login server

Hi guy,

Need help, Maybe this is very simple to you, but not me.

My Server working fine, but client fail to connect to login server.

A3client.exe file hexed..to 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.1.2, both not working.

i'm using tian tian client..MyServer205Modded server.

Any idea how to fix this problem?:busted_co

Maybe you didnt hex your client properly. Recheck it. The local edited client is available on these forums. Please look for it.

Else if you think you did it right then check the IP's in your loginserver.ini

You it will be using the server in the same PC, configures client in the archives (loginserver.ini, loginagent.ini, zoneagent.ini,) with Ips 127.0.0.1 (localhost), this will be able to decide its problem, but an address of fisico IP in the net will be being been using, you will have to use the IP exp (192.168.0.1 or 255) so that you it has total connection…. I wait to have helped….

I'm have read lots of thread, a lot of things had done, but yet to make the client work.

Pls help to answer the below question so that i can make the things work.

Hexing.. only hex the a3client? how about a3launcher & a3.exe? a3.exe i believe is no longer required since using bypassing.

so far i only hex the a3client.exe total 6 IP in that file...

IP... currently my PC connect to switch router which connect to internet modem with dynamic ip, it always constantly stay at 192.168.1.2. as what you say at the above localhost should use 127.0.0.1....i'm confusing my condition is connecting to LAN or localhost?

so which ip i should use? btw i did try to change both the 1st IP for loginserver.ini, loginagent.ini, zoneagent.ini to 192.168.1.2 & 127.0.0.1, both not working.

SQL 2000... must use with sp3 or higher? my only sp2. i fail to upgrade due to some error when i upgrade it. any idea for this error? SP3_servxx, forgotten... (microsoft read me file) asked to restart the PC and install again and it should work, but it still not work. faint..

Use 127.0.0.1 everywhere first and test if your server is working. If yes, then edit the the first IP of login server, login agent and zone agent to make your server work on the net or on lan.

SP2 will be good enough to run the server but the server will crash eventually. Get SP3 now.

Thanks for help, especially to "some1" that teach me throught SKYpe. The problem is i'm not using the static ip....

I can login to the client now.

==>knighthoot mode ( @@Cheat OK!! @@) apear but nothing happen
==>add myself as friend, type in chat box.. nothing happen. ==>@MYLEVEL/165 (correct?)

Skill - all skill are ok, no problem to cast skill

MAP - some map will hang and the client auto close, S4, T4, R5, ( and 1 new map forgot name - last map from hartel )

GB room map - OK
Niffgar map - OK
Nevia Cayon - OK ( all the boss drop G10 )>"<

No. MYLEVEL is the KH Chat Code.

Is that your GM Id that you tried through. Check Level only level will increase. The stats wont and the aura wont show up until your reconnect. Its KH Chat. @MYLEVEL/165

ArA3 should work. Check if you have the map files on the client side.

Maybe some files are missing. This is another one of those uni problems. Is yours the GameHaze client or the TianTian thing? :S ...

OO.o i recall back, i updated the client with Tiantian patch. So i should roll back to original ARA3?

Yes. Please do that. The data files of TianTian have a few modifications which are incompatible with the default 2.02 and 2.05 server. Thats the reason your server is crashing.

If you used my 2.02 Modded server, i used TT A3 Client. This client hawe all new maps and monsters. If you need my full client is no problem i release to this forum. But some files from my client i translated to Polish language.

We are using the files you uploaded in the stickies so most of the members will tend to download it. It would be good if you could upload your client too so that the members wont have compatibility problems. It would be even better if you can translate them back to english and then post them.

I could have done the translations later on but am very busy with the new server files.

from my knowledge.....ur client crashed because u used ur ARA3 client n patch with Tian Tian, that makes ur client is corrupted... u must used tian tian patch with tain tian client only n not with ara3 client.......

if u used tian tain client with tian tian patch, i think it will bring u no troubles...

It's just a client compatibility coz few files are missing on the client side. Just add on or remove them on the server side. It's a really small issue. Please dont prolong it.

Oki this is my client, Polish is STT0.ull - STT1.ull - STT2.ull - STT3.ull, and changed a3client.exe (server ports).
