Take

I think you havent created a Login for a3serial
Do the following and tell me if it works

In Enterprise Manager go to security tab (found in left hand side)
Press Action>New Login
this is the process where many do a mistake ..... do this process carefully]
put
Name = a3serial
Password = dkdlxpawprhdnpc
Database = A3ItemEvent
select the database access tab & tick the a3ItemEvent, then tick the db_owner
& press ok
it will ask for the password again put dkdlxpawprhdnpc & press ok
(some times it gives an error "Login serial already exists" .. if u too get this error message then go to Databases>A3itemEvent>users & delete the a3serial there... then again do the process mentioned above)

Just edit your zoneserver and chang it lol.. Remembering that stupid password all along is so difficult. oh yeah, the A3ItemEvent DB too.. :icon6:

You mean ODBCs?

Just change your server name in the registry file by opening it in a notepad and then execute it. It will ask you if you want to register entries with the registry and press YES and all you're ODBC's will get registered.

To verify that they have been properly registered ... go to control panel > administrative tools > data sources (ODBC) and then verify the tests.

There is a whole big thread about this in the stickies. Why dont you bother reading that first and probably you would have acutally ended up setting them up without actually making a thread out here.

i thought instead of making new thread i posted here when i enter my ID pass in the login screen windows it gives the message connecting....


then nothing happens plzz help i am using Hamachi i was facing the same problem as serverman (faled to coneect to the login server) then i turned to hamachi !

Try a couple of times. If it still fails, then your client aint compatible. get the 2.02 client. It's default file size is around 5.69 mb.

Connects your Mainserver to your ASD's ??? Initially it was necessary to click this button to make that happen but later on it was made automatic. But you will have to use it on the new 5.00 files coz you'll have to choose from the 2.02 configs and the 5.00 configs.

You start the server in an order, it will be fine then. You must start ASD first!
