[Help] How name character GM

Respected RZ members,

I am unable to use GM as my character's name. I cannot name my character as Gmxxx.
Can some one please tell me how to name my char. name as GM

Follow these steps:

1. Create a character with any name
2. Go to Account Folder in D:\a3server
3. Search for ".acl" files. Open each of them and find the correct file having the charname you have created.
4. Open that file with hex editor and change the name as you do for Client IP's
5.When done go to the database Charac0 table and change the name back up.

3. Modify the GMInfo.ini files, they can be found in Mainserver, Accountserver, Zoneserver and battleserver folders respectively.

The format of the file will look like this;

[GM]
GMCount=8

GMLevel_0=165
GMName_0=Accountname

GMCount = The maximum number of GMs in the server. It must match exactly the amount of GMs otherwise some GMs may not have GM powers.

GMLevel_0=165 Just leave it at 165..

GMName_0= A common mistake made by some, you have to put in your USERNAME, NOT character name in it.

Once you have done the above, you only need to restart the server for changes to take effect. When logged on once again, your character will have GM status and powers

You did not undestand what he is telling. He is saying that he cannot create a character with the name "GM".(Gmdark, Gmsweet etc.). The word GM is prohibited by the client during character creation.

That is the reason Akaruz and etc edited their client so that users could avoid all these problems. Gawd knows what all clients these people use these days...

Well you can edit your client to allow create characters with such names but i dont recommend. What method i told you is always best and handy!
