    [Help] Monster files

    Respected Moderator's and RZ members,

I want to know How to get monster files from Client 5.29 (korean) or TianTian Client. We can get Maps from client to server but can we get moster's files from client to server... If Yes then can anyone give us example how to get?

Other thing, How to create empty *.ndt and *.n_ndt files? I used notepad to create empty *.ndt and *.n_ndt files... is this the correct method? If wrong then plz tell me how to make empty *.ndt files?

Ins@ne or other RZ members plzz help me in this issue....

You really need to start searching before posting.

    Re: [Help] Monster files

    Respected Ins@ne,

I had went to your post and created 48.ndt and 48.n_ndt for the Map=48. But still i was not able to see the Boss and Creeps in that Map.

I am clear about how to create *.ndt file, but i am confused in creating *.n_ndt file.
Copy the values from the *.ndt file to the *.n_ndt file exactly the way they are.
Here i opened the *.ndt file, then i selected all and then i copied all the selescted thing in *.n_ndt. Is this the way to copy or other way to create the *.n_ndt.

I am using 2.02 Server and the client is TianTianA3's (I also have Korean 5.29 client but its not working well wid my server). I am able to see all the Maps which i took from TianTianA3's client but they all are Empty. I want to add Episode 4 & 5 monster's in this Maps, but will my client have this Monster's or i will have to find the Moster files.

iNs@nE, you have help all of us here, and we appreciate your work. Please help me here too...

You need to copy the values manually. But just change it with the creatures codes of the new map.

Firstly, stop double posting and wait for a reply.

Secondly, once you have made your new ndt file by using A3 NDT Tool, i uploaded, you are supposed to open that file in hex and another new blank file in hex and then copy the values from the ndt file to your n_ndt file and save the n_ndt file. Thats it. YOur job is done.

    Re: [Help] Monster files

    Sorry for double posting.
But, i did the same thing, i made a *.ndt file and then opend it in UltraEdit then i copied the values of ndt into n_ndt and saved it. and copied that n_ndt file in Maps forlder. But when i went to that map and used the GM command @MOB?48 ( i had made n_ndt file for map 48) it showed me count=0

    So asked for your help.

Did you add in the creatures that are supposed to be on that map? I mean the correct creature codes?

Yes, i had put the correct Monster suited for that Map. I had roamed through out the map and noticed the valid X Y co-ordinates the put the Monster's in the map. I had referred the post [Epi4 Monster codes] in which zaugola had given the ID of mobs suited with map. But still i get zero count of monsters...

Did you compare your n_ndt file with the other n_ndt files of other maps and made sure they have equal number of bytes. make sure you refer to the maps with the same number of creatures. Else the bytes will differ.

It would have as you to pass the relation for numerical order of new mobs of partIV and V.

Therefore I have pleasure in having a server part IV
