there are no new skill yet.......lol
Get the skill files from the client sides. Convert them to bin and then paste them in Zonedata>Skill and you can use them after that.
i have actually tried this ins@ne...
but the problem is that the skill window gets totally botched up...
by this i mean that all the skills show up in a single tab rather than in diff tabs of magic,mace,sword etc etc....
the hp/mp requirements go too high..
i cudnt cast any mage skill...
i cud cast on shield and lightning weapon of hk however....
Try with a different set of files from another client. Sometimes the zone doesnt get along with the files. Thats when such glitches happen.
could you please suggest a suitable client ...
as far as my knowledge goes...ther's only the Korean client with complete part 5 files....

I m hax a client.exe and add my IP from korian clent when my char loging. and enter map and clent are auto disconnect.
i need help from clent side.. can u tell me which changing in clent side.

Use the GameHaze client.exe instead of the Epi 5 client.exe to avoid crashing. Use them with the episode 5 files replaced on the server side too.
As for a compatible client, I modded the Episode 5 client and used them long ago when I was still on the Episode 3 files. You could do the same.
err...may sound newbish...but mod as in how ??
if u are talking abt the way the client connects to the login agent or the DBs...thn i have no damn idea of how the part 5 things work :(...
if u could please show with the help of an example maybe...
I think Insane is talking about using GH Client.exe along with the Part5 Client with the items & maps included in the Server Side ... i hav been away from a3 for quite some time ... i tried this thing quite some time ago ... but had to quit it cuz my PC got Infected lol!! btw using GH Client.exe will prevent from getting Dced Errors ... i mean the connection Problem between Server & Client.
& for starters ... try implementing Items, skillz, maps & mobs ... i had some sucess but i nvr been to a official server ... so i have little knowledge about how real part5 items of stuffs or skillz look like .... so its a bit difficult for me to run in dark... i think it woul dbe better for me to get some info ... from insane then try working my way out of the dark!!
The GameHaze client.exe is amazing but you would still face compatibility problems with it when it comes down to hosting it with the Episode 5 files (not the total ones. Even just the item files and etc) ...
What you can do is, take the Korean Client.exe and open it up in hex. And now go through the whole file. For eg: Now if you change your item files, check for the files where the items are defined. Edit those. Then open your Zoneserver.exe and do the same.
More than the Client.exe, work on the ZOneserver.exe coz that is what makes your server compatible with the client.
I'll post a guide soon on how to mod these files and etc.
Insane ... dude, dont get urself caught in nodding things right now :) finish up the Ep5 files... modding can w8, but i am really w8ing for ur files :) so finish EP5 then we can all start modding EP3 files once we have the EP5, as then we will have a concrete knowledge about wht is EP5 :)

Doing all these kind of stuff adds to fun!!! Good thing is by doing all these sorts of things we get to know the Nuts and Screws of server which will inturn benifit us.
As i already told Ins@ne is doing a great work for us and we need to pay a tribute that will be giving him sufficient time.

Modding = Testing ur own Limits, researching.. etc etc. Just for Example, y wasting ur time creating ur own server when u can play on others server, u want 2 create ur own cuz u want to knwo how its done, simple ...

Hmm.. Time ..yeah.. Thats what I need... I am typing down the procedures to get one by one ready on the forums already and that started off with my thread a couple of days ago about the maps.
Soon, I'll post one on item implementation and dog races.
I'd need time coz am doing it all alone and I have a very active social life to take of too (me being a model) ... So please patience as cvrdheeraj said.
