    Re: How to close map?

    If u want to close a particular map, Then dont keep particular map no.. files in The Zoneserver > Zonedata > map folder.
    Paste them somewhere else..

    And dont keep the particular map in teleport list. !

    And u are done with it !

    But I dont think It will save Lottt of memory..
    Just 100 - 200 KB

    as mentioned it wont save much Of ur memory untill they are all Grinita Maps :p

    If U want that Entry to a Particular map must be restricted Then go to Zoneserver/Zonedata/map

    and there u will find a file MapInfo.ini in this format

    Map0=0
    Map1=0
    Map2=0
    Map3=0
    Map4=0
    Map5=0
    Here Map1 means temoz(the code of temoz is 1)
    Map1=0 (OPEN)
    and If u Put
    Map1=1 (CLOSE)
    it wil close the map and restrict The entry through teleporter.

    Hope It Helps.

    NO.. Actually, He wants to close map in such way that, It will need less process done with CPU..

    If he did the thing as u mentioned, That time also Zoneserver reads particular map info.

    So better not to keep files server side & Client side !

    i think Deadlykill3r is right since 'map closed' means 'map files not loaded'

    Re: How to close map?

    Dude, U Didnt get me..

    Map 0 means map files not loaded,
    We dnt want to knw that files loaded or not.

    I am saying, Zoneserver takes time to read that 0 or 1 value.
    If no map files Then only zoneserver will not read it...

    As he said, If made value 0, Zoneserver will need process to verify that its 0 or 1.

    Incorrect.

    The Map=<value> is the ID of the Zoneserver in which the particular map is loaded. It is not a check for loading or closing the map. Even if you change it to any value, the map is loaded, but not on the Zoneserver that you might be currently running. To prevent the map from loading entirely, you will have to add a Semicolon ";" before the "Map="
