    ndt & n_ndt files difference??

From various posts I read that these files are supposed to be the same.

    http://forum.ragezone.com/f98/guide-...5-maps-297124/

BUT , they are not same.

If someone wants then pls explain what the difference is between the 2 files.

    Thanks

n_ndt files are ndt files which have a empty byte after each creep information.

Thanks for the reply, but the last byte you mention is used in many cases and also the n_ndt files are totally different in some cases, that's the reason I asked in the 1st place.

Also I deleted ALL ndt files and kept only the n_ndt, all seemed to be working. When deleted n_ndt and kept the ndt only, then all monsters and NPCs had disappeared. This makes me think that the plain ndt are useless, am I right?

Finally, I made an N_ndt editor/generator in my GM Tool which considers the last 2 bytes as 1 integer hoping that it's correct:

    nndtedit.jpg

P.S.:Will add monster/npc name and map name columns too

I guess that last bye will be different only for the Tower N_NDT files. They contain the Tower Floor ID in the empty byte for the respective creep.

ndt files are used for 1.45 server. They have no use in 205+.

The Action column in your Tool when used to NPCs resembles the NPC Orientation. You can rotate the direction of the NPC using that.

Yeps, when I changed it NPC changes orientation, but there are LOTS of entries with the last 2 bytes like:

    Code:
    01 30
And this number is HUGE if it's used as it is, so maybe they are 2 diff bytes. For the moment I will leave it like this and we'll see.

Now moving on to Teleport.txt & WL.ULL editing, sad thing is I still haven't fully understood the ull algorithm and I have to use a bat file in order to convert ULLs and import them in my tool :(

    Thanks
