note Remote administration of SQL Server express

By default, SQL Server express does not allow "remote" connections. This means that by default you can only connect to your A3 Server database ONLY from the PC the SQL Server is installed.

If you follow the instructions posted, you will be able to connect to your server and start messing with it from every PC you like.

Not recommended. Will make your server hack prone.

That's true for an internet server! For my home server it's fine.

Although, there are VERY secure ways to access your SQL server or RDP to your internet server but I thought that these don't belong to a noobie's guide. Besides, a noobie shouldn't host an internet server, right?

    ;)
