    Rip a3

The A3 section is finally dead.

    What a shame.

Well, I have to admit that you and some others who warned me that I would waste my time with A3 server were right.

There aren't any hobbyists in this community anymore, that consider the whole thing an entertaining and educating experience.

At least the good thing for me is that I refreshed a bit my C++ & ASM.

A3 was dead long time back. It is those Episode 5 server files which put some life into it. But now since most of bugs are removed, nothing is left to do. Moreover all those who had knowledge about a3 and used to actively participate in a3 discussions, those all are having their own private servers running and now they do not want to share anything because they want their server to be best.
So chrissdegrece, no use of doing so much unless you also want to start your own private server.
Because this is end now. We will not get a3 returns server files because actoz is not giving permission for any official server except korean. And korean server is managed by Actoz itself , so chances of getting files leaked from them is almost nill.

I have mentioned it before, I don't want to host a server, never wanted. I just like socializing.

IMHO you can be a hobbyist without hosting a server. Hosting is very demanding, sites, events, management, players, support, etc. While just messing with the server can be entertaining and educational without the obligations , hehe.

Yea .... hosting a server is really a hectic work though its fun if you make it for only 10-20 players and make your server better and better ..
