    you buffed monster defence/hp/damage and equipment stats, that's a cool idea in concept, however with the current droprates it's literally impossible to find equipment, therefore you can't progress onto the next "tier" of equipment/monsters.
    also the defence rates of monsters really shouldn't have been changed as these changes haven't been reflected in the character calculations

    Now that's an explanation I like.

    I can do one of the following things:
    -Increase level up points
    -Modify character calculations
    -Decrease monster defence rates

    I'll check into it.

    Yes, the server is online. Have you downloaded the new client files?
    Maybe you haven't patched the old client files, I accidentally disabled the download.

    100x seems to much to me. But in the meantime I made some other changes.

    1. We've increased the drop rate again
    2% to 3% = 1/33

    2. I've added Sealed Silver boxes to the drop list. (Click here for info)
    Their droprate is 4% or 1/25.
    You can open the boxes with a Silver Key bought from Wandering Merchant Alex.

    3. Jewel drop rates increased (Click here for info)
    Item drop rate: 3% = 1/33
    Zen drop rate: 5% = 1/20
    Bless drop rate: 1% = 1/100
    Soul drop rate: 0.25% = 1/400
    Chaos drop rate: 0.01% = 1/10000 (Don't worry, drops in events etc.)

    4. Orb of greater defence & damage are now available from Eo the craftsman in Noria.

    Indeed, I think I configured it too hard. It needs some tweaking. I'm not going to change the monster strength though, but increasing exp to 100 might do the trick.

    Will keep on searching for the right configuration.

    I heard a player say (Goraus) many people won't enter the server if they see it has already launched and doesn't have a decent playerbase.

    Understandably I can imagine how people think that way. But I see it like this:
    All those who already visited the site or played the game and weren't convinced, won't bother visiting again. Maybe after some time.
    New players who visit, and see there haven't been many players, they haven't 'lost the race'.

    Or maybe I'm just wrong and need to set a launch date in the future this time...

    a restart would be useful of course, but you'd greatly benefit from taking a bit of time to re-look at some of the things we've discussed, do further testing and really review the current setup.

    i'll give my opinion on a few pointers, we'll begin with droprates..
    it began at 15x and 1% droprate (15:1), then went to 30x and 2% droprate (15:1). In my opinion the current ratio is too low anyway, and really ought to be somewhere in the range of 30x with 30% droprate. that may sound a lot compared to your current ratio but let's use a very crude example, an up and coming dk kills 500 elite yeti's (http://www.guiamuonline.com/devias-drop-normal). 30% * 500 = 150 item drops. of the 22 "normal" item categories a yeti has, 3 are armour parts that DK can use. so 150*(3/22) = ~20 dk armor items from 500 kills, enough chance for a handful with +opt to be worthwhile. after those 500 kills the dk would certainly want to move on and will likely be level sufficient to do so as well.

    monster stats...
    monster defence rate certainly needs to be reduced to "regular" levels. the main factor is damage taken/received, and in order to be able to even hit then physical builds are currently forced into insane agi levels which leaves little room for str and damage, and magic based characters would be forced to hugely over level to gain the rate from level ups.

    monster health ought to remain at a balanced level, i know you want tougher monsters but making 200% hp monsters for example inherently makes physical damage builds lack value compared to dw's/e-mg's for example. stamina is a finite resource where-as mana really isn't. if a wizard has to cast 2x spells to kill a monster he will maybe run out of potions a little faster. if a dk has to TS 2x as much then his stam will surely drain at an unsustainable rate.

    buffing stats isn't going to be the answer, it would discount the key point of mg/dl/rf, also combined with the high monster damage/defence it would make ee's go from highly desireable to outright permanently required.

    also, i don't know how wide spread it was as i never got to venture beyond lorencia, but it might be worth doing sanity checks on monster damages, i.e. with a leather set and a shield a dk would receive base damage from giants but 100 damage from liches, also some have much higher attack speeds than others which makes them naturally far less desireable to kill.

    That is true if only one person is playing. But if there are 100 players. There would be 2000 dk armor items on the market if each player kills 500 yeti.

    I would continue to add drops like that. Lucky boxes which drop sets only, but never with luck and <= 8 opt. The same with Alice event I just added. Blue rabbits which spawn in Noria for 5 minutes. They have 1/50 chance of dropping an excellent beginner item with max 1 excellent option. Whereas normal monsters can drop max 3 exc options.

    But as you and some others have said, I need to rethink some things, because progression is too hard. My first idea was that you'd need resets to enter lost tower for instance. But then xp has to be much higher.

    I'm going to start a Beta² untill the Official launch the 1st of june 2014.

    Tested the server on 100x with actual rates and is very good configured.
    In party exp. boost. Good jewel drop rate to upgrade items, even low lvl ones.
    Defence of items is bigger, ex: guardian boots exc. +9 def.110 :)

    I will play and love this server. Just need a little bit of courage and pasion for this great game.
    Team work will be the best advantage to play here and i hope i will find a lot of "real mu players" online to play together.

    I just wait the 1th June
