[S4 League] AZ ~ Waifu Battles!

Hi there RZ,

A few years ago I use to operate a simple S4 League private server, which somewhat worked but was very buggy and a lot of content was missing. There is also the network issues with the server we used which sadly we was not able to fix or even produce a work-around for at the time.

Total TD Maps: 15
Total DM Maps: 25
A lot of new weapons and clothing... too many to count.
Server location: Europe. If the server takes off, we will be investing into servers in other locations.

How we plan to work around the network issue.
We plan to setup a VPN which so far in testing has fixed all latency issues, and connection issues!

Are the connections from one player to another inside the rooms gonna be peer-to-peer or completely server-based?

"Fixed connection issue". Does it mean that the "invisible players" problem in the same room was solved?

"Waifu beaters" is kind of a shitty weeaboo name though. Still, good luck with this!

The name is a place holder for now, no doubt a proper name will be thought of soon. Server connection are still peer-to-peer, however we have worked on tunneling everything in another way instead of how FagNet did it which means yes the invisible player bug has been fixed.

Not sure how you're going to make the server survive financially. About that, here's the transparent & open source way from a webmail service that I know of:

We each work day jobs and fund the servers that way. If we start to struggle then we will look into donations. But we would NEVER charge anyone for anything within the game.

Damn, I just noticed that I read "Waifu battles" as "Waifu beaters", that's funny. Maybe I'm mentally ill lol

Haha, I doubt it! We have just been coming up with names that fit the anime style of the game for subtitles. We still have a few bugs to iron out, but we should be open soon!
