I don't see how a video can be more clear than a written tutorial with screen captures...

im not a fan of this guide i wish the mega guide was updated oh well i have an outdated server up for now i will update it once i find better database files since these do not want to work nor do they want to connect to my clients.
(yes my ports are forward and the client is fully updated)
another question would be what client version is recommended for these files and please don't say the most up to date.

Also Imame it would be clearer because they wouldn't be learning how to do they would be mimicking what they see in the video.

also I'm back after 3-5 years of being gone be ready for things to get done.

If the client can't connect it's not a database "problem". And for database you got official tools to retrieve all what you need from your client:

It's pretty simple now... With dev rev you just have to get latest naRose client, updated, without gameguard patch.
More simple than this you can't do.

well im having problems with the Char Server.conf, it says the file is corupted when i finish editing. And doesnt let me do anything.

but now it says "Fatal Error the tabels "Roseon.channels" doesnt exist.

ok i fixed it now when i run Longin server, everything runs fines, i run Char server and it says cannot conect to Login server, and the World server says cannot conect to char server

i can only think of two things that might be causing this the order in which your starting them and your configuration files. do login, character then world

Don't install dev rev's database on top of "old" rev 80 database. Install it on a brand new mysql database.
Some fields have been added and some unique keys too.

So create a new mysql database, install it in dev rev data and then you can try to export your "old" data from the rev 80 to dev rev (items, characters, storage, account) and so on.
Doing so of course don't delete table, just use "insert" mysql commands.

All fixed thanks now i have the Maintenance error again. ports are forwarded and the client is 100% up to date. or as far as it would let me update it. since now it says it has a corrupt file and can no longer up date. im going to try a new install and get back to you guys.

Why are your lanIP the same as your lansubmask and I guess the same as your gateway IP?
I doubt your computer IP is 192.168.0.1...
