Estou tentando conectar o banco de dados há mais de 2 horas e ainda não consigo. Continuo recebendo erro no ServerManager ao tentar executar a conta. O que aconteceu de errado?

This is very cool.

I appreciate the hard work.

After 6 hours I have to give up though, not knowledgeable enough to figure this stuff out.

When using the skill 4th Executioner
SI_STORM_U_SKILL_03 (IDS_PROPSKILL_TXT_000474)
without satisfying the proper conditions, the character becomes completely unresponsive afterward.
Even using teleport doesn’t help —
the character cannot perform any actions and I have to log out and reconnect to fix it.

--moverskill.cpp--

if (pSkillProp->dwID == SI_STORM_U_SKILL_03) // 강탈, 혼신의 일격스킬이면 다이일루젼상태인지 검사한다.
{
if (!HasBuff(BUFF_SKILL, SI_STORM_U_SKILL_02)) // 다크일루젼 상태가 아니면 사용못함
{
if (IsPlayer())
((CUser*)this)->AddText(prj.GetText(TID_4TH_JOB_ER_01), 0xFFFF0000); // 다크일루젼상태에서 가능합니다.
return FALSE;
}
}

Has anyone encountered this issue or found a solution?
I haven’t modified anything related to the skill system or skill data.

First of all, thanks for the release and the effort on it ahah

I was playing it by myself, enjoying, but suddenly, the Teleport wont work anymore, whenever i teletransport to any place, the game just crashes.

do u know how can i solve it?

Please refrain from requesting assistance in "RELEASE" builds. There are no available debug messages, which makes effective support impossible. Furthermore, no one will truly be able to help you under these conditions.

I would assume the issue is related to the multiple theme system — most likely a missing element in the ResData, an absent button, or possibly the application itself not being properly defined.

Attach your Neuz to the debugger, set a breakpoint on GetDlgItem, and you’ll identify the missing button if that’s the issue.

They are fine. I don't know why people prefer to use the help section about a release when it would make entirely more sense to contain all information gathered in the actual release post for future knowledge.

Help section i would assume would be more for off topic help that has nothing to do with a specific release.

Did another test, party window or pressing P crashes the client as well.
Its missing the box for Party Finder. You can get the specific button used in the source. Or just take a look at the other resdatas. The theme system was a mess.

The help section is there for a reason; it’s meant to be used for that purpose and nothing else. A release is a release, but the help section is specifically designed to be utilized. Maybe you don’t mind when things are disorganized—that’s your choice, and I say this respectfully.

I don't see how you could be more organized than containing all fixes and help for a specific release than on the release post itself. I would feel like having to dig through hundreds of unrelated help post just to find a specific fix for a specific set of files to be, contrary to what you say, very unorganized.

Go support your threads and stay off mine if you don't like it, Tell people that need help with yours to post elsewhere. :unsure:

People who need help with this release, Feel free to continue to post here so we can keep all this info neat and tidy on one post. :ROFLMAO:

No, you just being sensitive and a crybaby as usual, Someone doesn't agree with you or has any opinion other than your own, Go cry to mods again. I'm sure they already in your DM.

And OH WOW i asked for advice. I'm so horrible. Pardon me bro.

Don't forget you came on my post where people are asking me questions telling them to post elsewhere. That's not very polite. But what do i know? :geek:

Hopefully not, But i'm sure i'll ruffle your feathers further in the future.

You're saying a lot of false things, so let's set the record straight.
First of all, I never messaged anyone, let alone the moderators. If you're going to accuse someone, make sure you actually have something to back it up.

Secondly, having a different opinion from yours doesn’t make me “sensitive” or “a crybaby.” That kind of comment is just a way to avoid addressing the actual point. If you can’t handle disagreement, that’s your issue, not mine.

You chose to respond with a passive-aggressive tone, acting like you were being attacked when it was just a simple remark. And no, no one came “onto your post” to cause trouble. It’s not your private space — it’s a public discussion forum.

So no, you’re not the victim here, and your sarcasm doesn’t hide the fact that you're the one who came in swinging.

Nobody came in swinging tiger. That's just your sensitivity. Me telling you they are fine and not understanding why you're telling them to refrain from asking questions on my post is not passive aggressive. How about calm tf down, and have a better night.

On the subject on where support and help requests should be,

With the state of FlyFF development today, it's hard to say where help requests should go. Most of the source releases are identical under the hood when it comes to systems, and features. Systems are constantly recycled, re-released, and renamed, rarely with minimal changes, and bugs are generally present and not fixed or the fixes sometimes get ignored.

We've reached a point where the overbastardization of codebases makes it almost meaningless to separate help threads when talking about a released source whilst back in the past, you seen more individual system releases, bug fixes and research being done. You knew what was added, how it worked and where to ask for help. It was easier to track, learn and support. Due to the massive full source dumps, we've lost that clarity.

In my view, it might be worth revisiting a system where individual and standalone systems are revised and released, supporting clean modules and shared knowledge rather than new people having to navigate the mess of nearly identical full source releases.

For now, help requests from a person using the full source requesting help in the release thread is a more manageable way. Then most of the help could also be provided by the releaser rather than the general community or the releaser having to, themselves, check a separate thread.

Even releasing individual systems, I feel like if help is needed specifically with that system, it should be asked inside the thread of said system for easier access to the information and potential fixes. I always viewed the help sections as "Off Topic" help. Like people trying to code their own systems needing help, Someone who has created their own issues, Questions about setting up stuff, or just general questions about how things work.

If people would like to post in help instead, That's what it's there for you know? I wasn't telling anyone not to use the help section. My point and response was more about someone telling people not to post in the release thread, when some of these fixes and issues are VERY release specific, and should be contained to one spot. That way the downloader will have access to all issues and fixes prior to downloading.

About duplicate files, I know lmao. I said to myself when i was uploading some of them, It's mostly the same bases with minimal custom user generated work and more so the same systems found in other released files or snippets. I've debated for weeks now removing a lot of them and only leaving ones that are notable and are different.

On topic with this thread though, I'm working on fixing all these ResData issues and will update the OP once done. I didn't realize they would gain so much traction. Another reason i would advise people NOT to use this theme system. It really is a pain in the a** to work with. :ROFLMAO:

Update:
ResDatas should be fixed now. (Client crash on opening certain windows.)

OP has been updated with the link to the new ones. Make sure once you replace them to merge your resources. :)

Here's the thing, the forum is not mine, the post is not mine either, but many people who come here, it is to seek knowledge or to suck something from other people's systems, and I am in both parts, both to learn and to suck, but the question is, when someone comes here to look for help, maybe they will even find it, but it will be difficult because of 43 pages counted only 15, if I'm not mistaken, really talk about errors or dump, the rest are just discussions of people accusing each other, as I said before it is nothing of mine here in this forum but if there is an admin seeing this, create a discussion tab there, throw the certain topic and sink yourselves into it "Remember us and to give us strength here hahaha" so that's it guys stay with God and a hug, understand each other for the love of God You are very important to this forum!
