The GMS one you have to downgrade the hs files. As for the SEA stuck at char select one, its the source problem.
awww ok. i tried playing offline, but still it says cannot connect to hsield update server. oh well. anyway, i got the same problem as those guys. stuck at char select. i used v97 and its working, but with john's source, it just stuck at char select. i've copied the jvm server to java, run the director, and run the server without problem =/ sorry again =D
Basically for GMS or MSEA, firstly you have to set up a loopback 1st for the official server ip, depends whether gms or MSEA. Then, if its GMS, you need to launch the game from MapleStory.exe using the GameLaunching arguments. As for mapleSEA, just click on the Maplestory.exe when your server is up and you can straight play from there as long as you have the loopback on. But still both of them have IP Check and you might get frequent dcs.
AuroX, sorry for disturbing you =D but do you know how to play servers like v88 gms,v97 msea and such that needs to use loopback without being online? i have sucky internet connection and cant be online all the time. tried finding hs emulation thing but doesnt work for me =/
