You can only be responsible for the files that you release, what other people release is not your problem, if someone likes to spread backdoors and/or trojans that's never your fault, it would be wrong blaming you about that. I meant to offense with the donations issue, it's just the information I was relayed back then, and tell me about edges for donators, I'm trying to turn DR into a balanced server since the previous "host" or "owner" made it a money making machine -.- If I knew the whole story I would have handled this issue in a completely different manner since now I know what you've been through, it was wrong from phprap hijacking your thread and flaming you like that, I'm pretty sure it's just a tactical maneuver to make you angry, otherwise, whoever had the files would have shared before...I guess we just need to handle backstabbing the best way possible so it gets backfired ;]
Now that I run MMO Private, this changed without pickpocketing our userbase, to expand MMO Private in several areas without giving players who donate an edge over others. This is all future talk and not currently happening so that's why I kinda got mad when you made me sound like a donation collector.
Yea Neo, you're right about that. It was frustrating when my shit got leaked and released, which is why I decided to release them myself and try to get a section started. When that didn't happen and people didn't really contribute and help out with dev, I wasn't too keen about re-upping it for leechers. I heard rumors about people backdooring files and re-uploading them and I didn't feel like being the one to blame so I kinda stayed on the down low. My dissapointment was big, but I never tried to stop anyone from developing TR further, which is why I worked with a dev from another network. He did shit, I'm pretty sure you did too and I can only applaud that, it's just what I said got blown way out of proportions. I stand by the fact that I never in my entire time of doing this pserver stuff, gained or planned on gaining any donations.
They want to hurt you and get to you and you'll letting them do it. Well, I don't like to see you like that, and you should not give them the pleasure of seeing you pissed off like this, the best way to deal with this is just ignore them and prove that you have the best TR server by improving it and enchancing it the best way possible, sooner or later the files would have been released, competition and leeching is almost mandatory in the pserver world, you just shouldn't expose yourself and your feelings like that because that's exactly what most people want, just don't give them that pleasure, keep working on your server because making the best TR server is the best way to slap them back in the face. PS: It's annoying having to split the visitor messages, I guess you already know that you need to read from the bottom to the top or it doesn't make sense...lol.
From what I've read I assume that you were reversing the files and working on them yourself for 2 years, and then suddenly the server files are released, that's like a slap in the face, and now the files are released again, another slap in the face, it's hard and I know it's hard but you can't declare war on everyone, from what I thought about you, excluding this conversation, you're smart and you're a nice guy, acting like this will only taint your reputation and basically you're making everyone happy because they like to see you angry...
And those people who sell the files and profit from them are not from your server and much less yourself, you should know who they are... I just heard about it but since I don't know anyone from the TR world except for you and Hen, and since I don't want any problems with anyone, I didn't mention any names. I understand also that TR is your "baby" just like DR is my "baby", and we both protect them with all that we've got. But I wasn't disrespectful towards you like phprap was so I really didn't understand your aggressiveness towards me.

See, I kind of understand your concern, I know what it's like to work for many years on something and then just see everything falling into pieces, I've been through that in real life a few times, and I've been through it around the pserver world when the person that hosted DR just decided to wipe all the servers and databases for no reason and I had to reconstruct DR myself from ground zero because my community was torn apart with no place to go. I wasn't attacking you in any manner when I thanked phprap, I was basically critisizing the people who try to sell the files for 2000$-5000$, I had no idea that you were working on TR for the past 5 years, to be honest I thought the game'files were released this year since I never heard about the game until Mark/Nine told me about it.

Well I joined DR as ShadowKing on November 2006 when Mackintosh founded it, then about 2 months later I joined staff as NeoDio and as a Quest Developer, then I guess I just climbed my way into running the whole server for the past 3 years :) And I remember the gay porn deface of jointherev.org, fun times lolol. BTW, didn't you want to open a server for us, I think Mark/Nine was the one who told me about it, but it was about 1 month ago, we were on an msn convo but then you had to leave...

Those names say nothing to me. Which is strange seeing as it was DR gave me to chance to create a small server way back in 2007 with the Server Development section on JoinTheRev.org. Kolie pay your bills, remember?
