Gave up on the app, I decided it's easier to manage my own forum for cabal stuff.
It's a big circle jerk i agree, but that's usually what happens when you're amongst friends. just learn and adapt, and in the case of your app, just a quiet PM to supers does wonders. they keep an eye on the sections, if they agree with you they will act.
If only your words applied to everyone here, you see plenty of the current mods giving less than 2 fucks but that's beside the point. Wessel started a thread not long ago where he approved of vandalism and forcefully shaving other people and it basically got swept under the rug when most of the people called it stupid, it didn't get closed or anything, if one of them says something bad about someone they all agree, I've seen it happen on a couple of cases where they just circlejerk and approve of each-other. You have to understand that what actually makes me angry is the fact that I'm still the one being attacked after I was ignored for 3 months. Like I said in the thread I couldn't care less what happens in other corners of the forum.

Let's pretend I'm Madison (I feel sexy already). I see your application and I am interested. I scroll down and see someone criticizing you (which is not wrong) and the main thing I would notice would be your inability to handle it. That makes me think you can't handle members who would do the same, and hence there would be a big problem with dissatisfied members if you were in charge. If you had presented your reasons calmly and acknowledged where you were weak and said you would work on it, you would've walked away looking like Jesus. Basically, look around you, learn, and adapt. Modding is not deleting posts, and handing out infractions. There is a BIG BIG BIG PR aspect to it as well, which you are currently failing. You might be thinking that your application is dead but it's not. It happens to everyone, and you have a chance. You just have to show them why you deserve it and when you do, take my word for it that you will be rewarded with the position.
