    I've never bothered to take a look at the source, though it's been floating around on my computer for probably over a year now

    The source is horrible, it really is, the store isn't finished nor even NEAR finished, which is sad.
  10. The source is over 2 years old, nothing good can come from that, if it took a development team 2 years to complete, you don't want to know how much time it's going to take one person

    An emulator would be doable, if I were to be 14 and have shitloads of time I'd start on it right away, but... I'm not

Yeah, except we have the source, dumps, servers, the database, and all the equipment to work with, but no one is willing to work on it, which is somewhat understandable considering it could easily become a waste of time in the future. I just wish there was someone who was willing to make an emulator for the latest client, but those odds are extremely slim.
  12. It's honestly a shame there's nobody around the GunZ forums anymore that's actually capable of doing anything C/C++ related, let alone ASM..

    Back with GunZ 1, it took a couple months until we had PDB dumps and the first DLL's being made

    Until I find someone who's willing to work with GunZ 2, progress isn't going to be going very fast.
  14. 4-6 weapons in your backpack, doing a wallrun.... yeah, that's what I was doing the other night

    I might ever play it if it gets to Steam, but I don't see that happen anytime soon
  15. They definitely tried to prevent K-Style, that much is clear.

    It's a lot more slow paced, you can hold more than 2 weapons(it goes up to 4-6), there's Melee + Ranged weapon combos now, so sword in one hand, subwep in the other. The map designs are really neat, but sadly, most of the maps from the Alpha client/servers are untextured, leaving only 2 maps fully textured, and only 1 map out of those 2 is finished.
  16. Well, considering the GunZ 2 forum is a subforum of GunZ online... pretty sure the GunZ 2 community exists mainly out of GunZ players

    I haven't had the chance to play GunZ 2 yet, is it actually any good or is it just a Korean waste?

    I refuse to touch GunZ 1. It's a horrible community.
    Yet, I feel as if half of them will migrate once GunZ 2 goes live in NA/EU.

  19. Nothing fantastic, standard development, trying to stabilize the servers a little more before switching to client development. Searching around for a team as-well, as I'm not too familiar or experienced with C++/C#.
  20. I heard robbing a bank gets you a decent amount of cash, if you need a driver... well, I don't have my drivers license but I don't think that'd matter when it came down to robbing a bank

    All jokes being put aside, anything new in developing?
