Hi. I've decided, after all, to use reNX for my project.

I want to get the value of a node. For example, the item's info - "price". So far I've been doing it like this:

If Path.ContainsChild("price") Then
                            Item.Price = CType(Path("price"), reNX.NXProperties.NXValuedNode(Of Int64)).Value
                        End If

But, I'm facing 2 problems.

1. I have to use if "Path.ContainsChild.." because some items don't have the price tag for them, and I will get a null reference exception. Is there a way to write 0 if there's nothing and the value if there is?

2. As you can see, I'm using NxValuedNode(Of Int64)).Value, because I couldn't find the "ValueOrDie" (It says it's not a member?...) for some reason. Now I just have to guess the type of the value each time and it's pretty annoying. What's the way to get the value in another way?
