  1. Long time no see.
  2. Hey Galphan, I downloaded XAMPP but I haveing issues with it and MySQL right now.
  3. LMFAO you said it Galphan, I merely stated the oblivious about people's basic illiteracy to read. And oh! I tried doing what you told me to, no luck still. I tried Downloading XAMPP but the file was corrupt and it was from the XAMPP Official Site
  4. Oh so true, it won't take alot of effort. I'm currently watching C++ Tutorials and trying to configure my website to have my WAN IP or NO-IP with no success. Do you have MSN so that we could talk?
  5. see here is the funny thing about that. the only difference in v11-v12 is the items, monsters and the new lord/tax system. all would need to be done is get the packets for the lord system and the data for the new stuff and stick them in there. its almost too easy except for the lord system. and that my friend is the beauty of open source.
  6. Hey Galphan, it's good that someone's finally not pulling a half-assed effort around here. I just have a couple of questions. With C++ Alone and Compiling, along with the basics how hard would it be to fix these little errors here and there? Along with that, do you have a set date for switching to v12 or can you not possibly upgrade the DB to it right now?
  7. Ok cool, i'll try out that notation. Also i'm going to try and have frost help me place a server up to test your files with.
  8. to be honest I only have used xammp, so Wamp might be a little foreign to be. I have had good luck with setting it up but my router is a complete bitch and sharing out my PC as a web server proves no such luck.

    Try this.
    (assuming you have windows xp/vista)
Go into windows, system32, drivers, etc. and edit the host file. There is where you tell the PC what IP addresses are related to your machine. so if you have your-pc.no-ip.org. you would put a line like this:

    127.0.0.1 your-pc.no-ip.org

They fail to mention this at their website but I found this in their forums.

if that fails then you need to forwatd your ip address given by your ISP. again I have had no luck so I hope I have been of some help to you.
  9. Galphan, i'm having an issue involving WAMP and trying to place up my website. I can only access it by using 127.0.0.1 But all of the IPs I have to configure were for my no-ip. Could you place a little piece of insight into my issue? I've tried using XAMPP but it's just a flat out bitch to try and work with.
