My dream actually is get a PhD in computer science and teach at a university level. That'd be wonderful, but it'd take an immense amount of work. You probably feel a lot like I do now... I feel like I got gipped of a good education at the college I'm at right now because I'm basically having to teach myself all of the skills I'd need in the real world.
I'm 50/50 on staying at uni tbh since I'd say my degree didn't really show me enough of one thing that I could get a job doing, it was more a skim over a load of different things from Photoshop/flash/3DS Max/Premier pro/Java/Open GL etc. So I was thinking of doing a masters to get more knowledge/skill to get a job but I'd say I'd end up staying in education for a PhD or something instead of getting a job in the end. =/ Got to say though, two bachelors degree's sound =O after finishing my one honours project which was immense, didn't help that my supervisor left 7 weeks from the end lol >.< Crash
I'm working on finishing up my two bachelors right now... my primary is in computer science and my secondary is in applied music. I've got two research projects under my belt that I'm hoping will help me get into grad school (along with the GRE and letters of recommendation of course), and that's taking up a lot of my time. I'd say if you're in the system already, stay in it and milk it as long as you can, because once you leave it's nearly impossible to get back in at a grad-level if you have a full time job. I guess you can keep that thread locked :P
I'll unlock it for you if you want =P I'm good, had my final exam last week meaning I've finished my Bachelor's degree (minus results + graduation), just contemplating doing a masters of what else tbh... Was looking at your convo with Tri and it seems like you know what you are doing much more than myself >.< lol Crash
