Fell free to contact the sups but i think they will have to agree with me on this one.
i understand. i was hoping of you to pass it onto somebody else, a super mod perhaps. i'll let them know anyway. i've dealt with the same situation, and often the result were pretty much equivalent to my presumtions. there is going to be tonnes of arguments regarding to something frivolous like these: http://forum.ragezone.com/f578/b-tur...-input-627883/ , perhaps.
I am sorry but i do not have the power to control the flow of tutorials created by users. If they post precise or not precise documentation this will reflect their knowledge and therefor people will stop reading his/hers guides. This is a community now a documentation website.
i suggest that you redirect new topics that are posted in tutorials forum in intent to the moderation queue. otherwise numerous tutorials that aren't precisely documented would be presented. that isn't ideal.
I am not looking to make a game, I just like coding, generally coding. I want to learn as many coding languages as i can and every code i can get my hands on is useful ^^. A game would require a shitload of stuff: textures, animations, sound effects, mechanics, packets... no thank you, i prefer software coding xD
hey man, if you were intending to create the client as a game as well then i suggest you look at this tutorial of DirectX, it is mainly a tutorial for 3D game development but the intiatives for 2D game (initializing directx on your application window for use as 2d or 3d) development were covered as well: http://www.directxtutorial.com/ that's where i started. i'm moving on and learning ogl now. :) p.s. sorry, i didn't release the client for the game msm, i had to keep it. :P alternative gdks: xna or darkbasic gdk.
Yes it did help, i learn from others work faster than i do from my experience and books. Maybe it`s because of my age...
did it help? :P
