Do to laziness I didn't write the check for two-sidedness and just made it standard :P It's before the texture alpha value if you're using a hex editor; set it from 1 to 0 and vise-versa.

Upload a screenshot if you got time.

Flip the normals, go into edit mode, press W and click on Flip Normals from the popup list. I should add normal calculation to the exporter.

With the elu I re-sent, I set the alphas for the material to 0, removed double sided textures, and used 100 for the applied texture alpha.

The 4th byte before the object name is the applied alpha value 0-100. The exporter just defaults to 100 (0x64) if UseAlpha is applied to a texture. It's probably bright due to a high specular.

If you like you can send the elu and I will verify the binary.

looking at the exporter code, in Blender you'll need to: export using version 7, define the texture object to use an alpha, and possibly play with the material object alpha values.
