It has always been that way in the pserver scene as everybody wants their server to have the best stuff to attract players more players and find ways of getting money out of them. Very few in the scene are not financially motivated and it is those people who like to share their work and ideas...

A database is the problem. It is trying to convert a string value to a date (probably in a stored procedure) and it is failing.

Post logs from /var/log/cabal/ as nobody can tell anything from the service status.

From the posts I have seen you get errors trying to get it running in VMWare but I don't know more than that. It could be that those have tried used an older version but I don't really know as I have only used the ep8 files in Virtualbox. 32-bit virtual machines would be fine despite that...

I have no problem with "TPD" :P work being used as a base for new repacks. I hoped somebody would continue working on it after I retired but most of TDP have vanished and nobody else seemed interested. Awesome job on the repack :thumbup1:

How things change yet stay the same! The funniest part of this thread is that 80% of the setup is no different to the ep2 files and yet there are dozens of posts asking for help on errors/problems that I know I answered at least a million times back in the good old days :) To those asking for...

It is telling you that your email server requires an secured connection and your app isn't authenticating properly to it. I don't recognise the app name so that is all I can tell you. R0N is correct that you see a similar error if you don't have .NET installed and are running an early .NET app...

Re: EP7 Server Source Files The code looks genuine to me but is missing some libs and a few other codes issues prevent it from compiling. Even after compiling you will still have to reverse engineer the server data file formats and databases from the code as they are missing too. Nice release...

That doesn't sound like an error from my files. What operating system are you running? Is it Debian based?
