Core currently supports latest version (incl. Miul) but most of the systems need to be implemented (essentially written from scratch). I would like to see more people involved (preferably with knowledge of C++).
KR version, someone else probably can, yes that could work but I have it taken care of already, more asm is probably needed if you want to use a newer exe, hfs have new encryption, latest version is the goal, that is optional, and nope
I agree with this idea. For these projects we can use git for version control so that we can easily have multiple branches - a stable branch, development branch, and a separate branch for each major/untested change that may be in the works.
That's a good question - for the core, the source...
Anyone interested in serious long term development, with basic or advanced skills in C++ programming and/or x86 ASM, should post here or send a PM to me (and let me know your discord id).
So far Meteorite has spoken to me and was very interested in development of a newer core (that...
I just don't see why I should get bashed for a bug in something released free that I also took down later anyways due to there being other flaws that required more of my attention (since they were exploits) but I guess we can just leave it at that.
Yeah I do agree that you put in some work, I am just saying that in a general sense and it isn't meant to be targeted at you specifically. It's just the whole take and not give back mentality that bothers me, but that isn't exclusive to the Vindictus community.
Are you using the winnsi from vinplayer (You must be registered for see element.
The initial version gives map errors like those, but he updated it.
Repacking the HFS isn't a good idea as there isn't a proper way to sign them (outdated hfssign). I prefer vinplayer's solution.
Make sure you actually have the newly added monster models and scripts (including npc_variations) loaded in through winnsi if you are not using a newer client w/ the 1.69 bins.
Also, for the newest monsters/bosses like npc_arcana general, you cannot use those newer classes yet (i.e npc_arcana)...
Yes, who would have known that actually putting in the time and effort, and not just complaining or making excuses or leeching from other developers could lead to substantial progress :ehh:
